FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES TO HOLD ANNUAL FUNDRAISING BANQUET

Brookhaven, MS – The Lincoln County Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Board is proud to partner with King’s Daughters Medical Center to present the 1st Annual District 7 FCA fundraising banquet on Thursday night, April 13th at Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven. Legendary coach Bobby Bowden will be the guest speaker.
Bobby Bowden is the former Head Football Coach of the Florida State Seminoles. During his time at Florida State, Bowden led FSU to an Associated Press and Coaches Poll National Title in 1993 and a BCS National Championship National Title in 1999, as well as twelve Atlantic Coast Conference championships since FSU joined the conference in 1991. Bowden finished his career second in all-time wins by a Division I-FBS coach with 377 wins.
The purpose of this event is to create awareness of ministry outreach and to raise funds to support programs and activities associated with the District 7 FCA, which includes Lincoln, Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence, Wilkinson, Amite, Pike and Walthall counties. Stan Foster, Shannon Acker, Rev. Randolph Hamilton, Clint Rounsaville, David Culpepper, Tim Johnson, Chris Thurman, and Jason Case serve as the Lincoln County FCA Leadership Board and are tasked with working with FCA Area Director, Chris Huffman, to increase capacity and expand the work of FCA in this area.
FCA’s Vision: to impact for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
Mission of FCA: to present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
